Project: London House 1

A Grade II listed Georgian House adjacent to Grosvenor Square.

Caroline was required to decorate this five storey house within one month in a historically sympathetic manner.

Thanks to her extensive contacts in the antiques and art world, she was able to rapidly put in place a collection of suitable period furniture, objets d'art and paintings including a portrait of the son of the Earl of Stanhope by John Hoppner, a pair of 'apres' Claude Lorraine landscapes and a studio copy of a portrait of Lady Warwick with her children by George Romney, the original of which is in the Frick Museum, New York. 50 prints of Egyptian temples and views by David Roberts cover the walls of the five storey staircase.
